Amos 3:11-13

“An ^(A)enemy, one surrounding the land,
Will take down your fortifications from you,
And your ^(B)citadels will be looted.”

“Just as the shepherd ^[a](C)snatches from the lion’s mouth a couple of legs or a piece of an ear,
So will the sons of Israel living in Samaria be ^[b]snatched away—
With the ^(D)corner of a bed and the ^[c](E)cover of a couch!
¹³ Hear and ^(F)testify against the house of Jacob,”
